USDF Youth Outreach Clinics

Clinic Registrations are Postponed Until Further Notice

USDF continues to follow and evaluate developments related to the COVID-19 pandemic. During this time, all currently scheduled events are subject to change. Check back here for the most current information.

The Youth Outreach Clinics are a new educational opportunity for our "grass roots" youth riders, and are held in conjunction with the USDF FEI Youth Clinic Series. The goal of these clinics is to introduce those USDF youth members who are dedicated dressage riders to the USDF "youth pipeline" and the opportunities it offers.

Each of these clinics will be held over two days, and will include a variety of instruction. On the first day, the participants in the Youth Outreach Clinic will observe the FEI Youth Clinic riding sessions, sitting together as a group as their clinician leads the discussion for each session. They will also join the riders of the FEI Youth Clinic during Saturday lunch and on Saturday evening, where they can participate in the lecture and interactive discussion with the clinician of the FEI Youth Clinic. On the second day, each Youth Outreach Clinic participant will ride in a 45-minute session with their clinician. Interested riders must submit an online application; 8-10 riders will be selected to participate. Riders must be 10-21 years of age, and must be able to complete a Training Level test.

Auditors of all ages are welcome to pre-register for the USDF FEI Youth Clinic.

If interested in auditing the riding portion of the Youth Outreach Clinic on Sunday, walk-in registration will be available.
